The 48 Group Club Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement 2005

In collaboration with the Pearl Awards, and jointly sponsored by London Export Corporation & Global Group (Europe) Plc

To honour an individual who has made an outstanding contribution over a period of many years, to causes or activities that have had a profoundly beneficial and enduring effect upon Chinese communities in this country, or overseas.

This award is made by invitation only for work in a wide range of fields including the arts, business affairs, politics, economics, education and scholarship, charitable activities, healthcare, conservation and environmental activities.

To date the awards have been endorsed by Ben Chapman - Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on China; Westminster City Council; the British Chinese Society; Chinese for Labour; Chinese Conservative Group and the Liberal Democrat Party.

The Award Ceremony took place at: Intercontinental Hotel, Hyde Park Corner, London. Thursday 29 September, 6.45 pm.
